Perioral Dermatitis - Clogged Pores

Perioral Dermatitis, Eczema is a common problem that causes the skin to become inflamed. People often also call it dermatitis.

Different Types of Eczema;
Listed bellow you will find the different  types of Eczema;

- Atopic Dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis is the most common form of eczema. Atopic dermatitis usually begins during infancy or childhood. But it can strike people at any age.
- Contact Dermatitis
Contact dermatitis is a form of skin inflammation that occurs because the skin has been exposed to a substance that irritates it or that causes an allergic reaction.There are two types of contact dermatitis: 1) irritant contact dermatitis, 2) allergic contact dermatitis
- Dyshidrotic Dermatitis
This type of eczema affects the hands and feet. The cause is unknown.
- Nummular Dermatitis
This type of eczema more often affects men than women. Nummular dermatitis causes coin-shaped red marks. The marks appear most often on the a)legs, b) backs of the hands, c) forearms, d) lower back, e)hips.
- Neurodermatitis
People with this type of eczema develop skin irritation in spots that they frequently scratch out of habit. This type of eczema often affects these areas: a)back, b)sides or back of the neck, c)genitals, d)scalp, e)wrists, f)ankles, g)inside and behind the ear.
- Seborrheic Dermatitis
This type of eczema is better known as dandruff. In infants, it affects the scalp. In adults, it also often affects these areas: a)eyebrows, b)sides of the nose, c)area behind the ears, d)groin, e)center of chest.
- Stasis Dermatitis
This type of eczema can develop in people when the veins in their lower legs don't properly return blood to their heart.
- Pompholyx  Dermatitis
Pompholyx is characterized by blisters on the palms and fingers.
 - Generalized exfoliative dermatitis
Generalized exfoliative dermatitis is a severe inflammation that causes the entire skin to become red and covered with scales.
- Perioral Dermatitis
Perioral Dermatitis is a skin disorder in which tiny red bumps form around the mouth.  



Home Remedies for Dermatitis;
The following are my suggestion Dermatitis home remedies that I recommend, as these are safe and does not have the side effect as over-the-counter prescriptions.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar. Apply a 50/50 concentration of apple cider vinegar and water to a rash and then rinse off after several minutes. Do this twice a day until the dermatitis heals.

2.Oatmeal baths made from powders such as Aveeno provide effective but temporary relief from the itching of eczema and dermatitis

3. Apply cod liver oil, vitamin E oil, or Aloe Vera gel to affected areas.

4. Apply a mixture of 1 teaspoon camphor and 1 teaspoon sandalwood paste on the rashes. Apply nutmeg paste to the affected areas. Put natural vitamin E on the affected skin, it will relieve you of itching. Zinc taken orally and applied directly on the affected skin is effective.


5.Take chickweed, dandelion, red clover, Redmond clay, and yellow dock in capsule form.

6. Shark cartilage reduces inflammation.

7. Use a lotion made out of blueberry leaves this is proven to be fantastic relieving inflammation of dermatitis.

8. Apple Cider Vinegar and Baking Soda. Use about 1/4 tablespoon of BS and ACV till the bubbling stops. Then add just enough water to complete filling a small cup About 3 inches high, 1/2 full. Wash your face with this and leave it on for about a minute and then rinse it off.
